Invitation to Attend the Asia Pacific Symposium on Postharvest Research Education and Extension

The organizing committee of The International Conference on the Asia Pacific Symposium on Postharvest Research Education and Extension (APS2010) to be held in Thailand during 2-4 August 2010, would like to invite you to submit an abstract of a paper or poster for presentation at the conference.
This event is organized by King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and is supported by The International Society of Horticultural Science (ISHS).
The goal of APS2010 is to highlight the most recent and exciting developments and innovations in the area with an emphasis on:
- all aspects of postharvest research;
- curriculum and training program development;
- modes of delivery of postharvest education;
- graduate research systems;
- perspectives and personalities in postharvest education and research;
- role of vernacular languages in training of practitioners in SMEs;
- role of industry in training;
- postharvest education material development including computer assisted learning;
- integration of research outcomes in training and extension programs;
- international networks of training organizations and multilingual training;
- marketing of postharvest education and training programs.
Authors of all accepted oral and poster presentation will be given the opportunity to publish their papers subject to the rules for publication in Acta Horticulturae proceedings. Please note that Acta Horticulturae will publish the papers prior to the conference.
Abstracts must be received by 30 June 2010. Abstracts should send directly to the symposium secretariat e-mail address aps@kmutt.ac.th.
